We don’t live in a perfect world. Sayings like “The customer is always right” is a saying for a perfect world. It doesn’t fit in the real world.
The real world is a bit more complicated.
The customer is always right, but if the customer happens to be wrong just pretend he’s right and let him have his way. If the customer is always wrong? Get rid of him and look for a new customer.
